DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN YOUR PADS/CUPS WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE WIRE BRUSH PROVIDED 
If you try to wash the wool with expand and contract which changes the shape. This can cause the balls to sit in the machine too tight and therefor will not spin. This causes burn marks on the balls and ruins them. If your cups/pads are well used beyond cleaning with the wire brush you need to replace them with this maintenance pack.
